Crème Brûlée French Toast Recipe

Sweet and savoury, this crème brûlée french toast is the perfect breakfast or dessert. Served with a side of your favourite fruit and a hot drink, it is sure to impress your guests.

 

 

INGREDIENTS

Eggs

Milk                                
1 cup
Heavy cream                              
½ cup
Vanilla                             
1 tsp
Ground nutmeg                         
¼ tsp
Cinnamon     
1 tsp
Kosher salt      
pinch
Melted butter      
1 stick
Brown sugar     
¾ cup
Maple syrup    
¼ cup
French baguette (1½" slices)

METHOD 

• In a large bowl, whisk together all ingredients    

• Soak bread until well coated   

• Place on well greased flat top and cook until golden brown on both sides
