Ste. Anne's Spa owner, Jim Corcoran, was inspired to run his first 1/2 marathon this September in the Canadian Army run by his triple amputee brother-in-law, Bryan Cuerrier. We challenge you to join the Ste. Anne's team in support of Bryan and other great Canadian heroes. Using two prosthetic limbs, Bryan Cuerrier will be walking the 1/2 marathon. Read more

I was enjoying lunch in a local restaurant today with a friend. At the end of the meal I reached for my coat on the back of my chair and there behind me stood a tall grey haired gentleman, holding my coat open for me to slide into. This subtle gesture of respect was a gentle reminder for me that February is the month of love. Many patrons in the restaurant commented on his kindness. It got me thinking of how the scents that we as women wear often define who we are and also affect those around us.

We woke up to a thunderstorm this morning, the first time any of our seasoned volunteers had even seen rain in Jinja.
