The Art of Mineral Masking

Friday, August 02, 2013

If you are anything like me, finding time in any given week for myself can be a challenge. I have many competing priorities between my home life and work life. With the creation of this new line there was certainly an enourmous amount of research and a steep learning curve. It was important for me to know that we had created a product that we could stand behind 100%. Read more

Toners: Are They a Necessary Part of Skin Care?

Silicone Use in Skin Care Products

Saturday, December 29, 2012

Every day many of us use a number of products on our skin, ranging from deodorant to powder, cleanser to moisturizer - the list goes on. We've been brought up in an era of mass production of cosmetics by industry giants. We trust that research has been done to provide products which are not harmful to us. For those of us who suspect that this is not always reality we may take the time to review the odd ingredient list, but soon find that none of the ingredients are familiar (or pronounceable). While working with an herbalist on the development of our own skin care line at Ste. Anne's Spa, we chose our ingredient list carefully. Over the coming months, through blog posts, we will be sharing some of the information we have learned. We hope you find this useful in making informed purchasing decisions. Read more
