The Amazing Race
If team-building, fun, fresh air and fitness is what you have in mind for your group, then the Amazing Race is a great fit. Working in pairs or teams of 3, participants will explore the beautiful rolling Northumberland Hills while on a mission to troubleshoot, solve riddles and find clues as an interactive race to the finish line. This program is recommended for groups of 6 or more who enjoy physical activity and challenge.
The class will be in a circuit style, alternating cardio and different body weight exercises. The light jogs maybe used to bring us to our next exercise. Some classes may have more cardio based exercises in the class depending on how the class is making out. If the class is very fit they can expect a lot more challenging exercises and routes. Examples of different exercises to be expected are as follows:
• Different types of Lunges
• Different types of Squats
• Ab crunches
• Triceps dips
• Light jogging
Blind Scavenger Hunt
Have fun, gain trust in yourself and your fellow employees. You will gain self-confidence and get a full filled hour of activity. Working in pairs, and using clues, you will guide your partner safely to each new location throughout the property. Active and great for building trust, confidence and fellowship.
During this group wellness class you are invited to join us for a walk through the rolling Northumberland Hills. On your journey along our groomed trails you may encounter in Ste. Anne's cedar forest, a spring-fed creek full of life or even discover Ste. Anne's Farms - home to a number of domestic horses. Allow the fresh air and exercise to relieve any built-up tension and re-energize your body.
During this group wellness class you will have the opportunity to snowshoe through the rolling snow-draped hills of Northumberland County. Never snowshoed before? You will be given instructions on how to use your state-of-the art snowshoes before you begin your guided snowshoeing experience through our outdoor trails.
