This workshop offers participants simple exercises that can be done at work, in a small space, or seated at a desk, and is suitable for anyone.
Healthy Backs: Strength Training Exercises for Strong Backs
The more time we spend seated at desks, the weaker our backs become. This one-hour session takes place at Maison Santé and guides participants through a series of strength-based exercises using machines, free weights, and body weight to build strength and mobility in the muscles that stabilize and mobilize the spine. A certified personal trainer will be your guide to ensure that all participants are performing exercises safely and effectively. This workshop requires proper running shoes, and that all guests are mobile.

In this introspective workshop, participants will work through a questionnaire that asks them to reflect and observe their current lifestyle habits and ways of thinking, as well as their work/life balance. From their observations, individuals will create intentions, affirmations and personalized meditations based on the concepts of mindfulness, and the practice of gratitude, to support a more balanced mindset and lifestyle.
Core Strength: Yoga and Pilates Exercises for Strong Backs and Core
This is an excellent session to complement Strength Training for Healthy Backs as participants are taught mat-based exercises which help to strengthen and stabilize the core and back muscles that support good posture and help alleviate back pain. Taught as a fusion of Pilates and yoga, your instructor will take you through a series of exercises, stretches and postures designed specifically for those looking to support a healthier mid-section. All participants should be mobile and able to move freely from standing to lying down.
